Basic Rules Used to Play Volleyball

THE SERVE

    1.Server has to serve the ball behind the end line (restraining line).
    2.Ball can serve overhand or underhand.
    3.Ball can be compulsory visualized or observable by the opponent players prior to serve.
    4. Served ball can graze a net and fall to another side to get point.
    5. A volley determines first game serve, the previous game loser shall serve each subsequent game.
    6. Serve must returned with hit only and no attacking or setting a serve

SCORING

    1.Rally scoring used in the volleyball game.
    2.Point will scored on each score in connection of ball.
    3.Offense score when the defenses miss.
    4.Defense score when the offensive miss, or may serve into net.
    5.Game will use to play up to twenty-five pts.
    6. It is necessary to wins by two points.

ROTATION

    1.Team use to rotate all the time, when they success at the serve.
    2. Players use to rotate in clockwise mode.
    3.There will be four to six players in each team.

PLAYING THE GAME (VOLLEY)

    1. Maximum 3 strikes per side.
    2. Player cannot strike the ball for two times in succession, a block hit not taken as a hit.
    3.Ball can play off the net while on serve or a volley.
    4.A ball when touch the boundary line, is consider as a good.
    5.If more then two players make contact with the ball concurrently, it is considers as 1 play and players engage can not take part in next play.
    6.A player need not attack the serve or a block.
    7.Switching positions shall permit only among front row players, only after the serve.

BASIC VIOLATIONS

    1. When the stepping over or on the line on serve.
    2.Player fails to serve the ball in the right way.
    3.Hit the ball in illegal manner.
    4. If the player will touch the game's net with the any body part.
    5. Reaching above the net, apart from these conditions:
    a.When implement follow-through.
    b. Blocking the ball when the ball in the opponent's court though it returns. The blocker is necessary not to contact waiting the other team player's make contact the ball who aims to return the ball.
    c. Arrive under the game net, if it interferes with opposing player or the ball.
    d.Player fails to serve the ball in the right way.
    e. Spike or blocks from a place that is not10-foot behind the line at the time of back line position.

THE PLAYING COURT

    1.PLAYING AREA
Playing court must of the measure (29'6" x 59') 18 m x 9m. This measure is same for both the indoor and outdoor volleyball game. Indoor courts include attack area nominated as a line three m (9'10") backward from the center line. Lines over the court are (2" wide) 5cm.
    2.HEIGHT OF THE NET
For the co-ed mixed, men, net height is 6, and for the outdoor is consider as 7'11-5/8"or 2.43 meters. For women net height considered as 7'4-1/8".
    3.BALL FOR THE GAME
The ball used to play the game is of the weighs of nine to ten ounces. Ball use in the play is of the pressure about 4.5 and 6.0 pounds.
